Vibrant to the point of overtopping the bottle with blousy magenta bubbles.
On the nose, toasted marshmallow frizzante at first glance but the pure essence of Pinot Noir on deeper inhalation. A bright, pretty palate of strawberries and cream custard – it’s basically dessert and champagne served together in the same glass. This wine is both an enticingly rosy, ebullient demonstration of the continuous flow of fermentation straight to bottle and a surprisingly accomplished Burgundy.
100% Lenswood Pinot Noir. Whole-bunch pressed to concrete ‘egg’ fermenter. Fermented until nearly dry.
